What is Relationship Safety & Resilience Training?

Relationship Safety and Resilience Training Is a skills group- not counseling. It’s an 8-week group where we teach practical safety and resilience skills for real-life situations- friend drama, online pressure, sketchy adults, and everything in between. We keep it honest, interactive, and judgment-free.

Who is this group for?

We run separate groups for ages 11 to 13, 14 to 17, and 18 to 24. It’s a great fit for teens and young adults figuring out relationships, boundaries, and how to handle pressure—especially if they’ve been through tough stuff or just want to be safer and more confident.

What topics do you cover?

Each session focuses on something important—like spotting red flags in adults or peers, what not to post online, how to bounce back after a mistake, or how to stand up for yourself without starting a fight. There’s also a focus on managing emotions and trusting your gut.

What makes this group different?

No scare tactics. No lectures. Just real conversations, tools that work, and space to ask questions. It’s built by professionals who’ve worked with youth in street life, foster care, juvenile systems, and schools— so we get it.

What’s the time commitment and cost?

The group runs once a week for 90 minutes. It’s $50 per session, and we offer a sliding scale if needed. Groups are closed—so once we start, it’s the same crew each week for safety and connection.

 Is this therapy?

Not exactly. It’s a skills group, not counseling. But it is led by licensed professionals, so we can help get you connected to therapy if you need it.

Can parents or staff sit in?

Nope. This is a youth-only space so people can speak freely. That said, we do offer info for caregivers and can check in if there are concerns.

Is it faith-based?

No, it’s a general program, open to everyone. I do offer faith-based versions separately if requested.
